Al empiezo del Fin

Well, it's been two months since my last blog entry, and a lot has transpired.  First and most importantly is surely the end of academic classes, the last of which went by yesterday.  I still have photography, but that's more fun than anything else.  But now that the semester winds down to its end and program members begin to head back to the States, it makes me wonder, have I made good use of my time here?

Probably not.

In all honesty, I've probably spent too much time dwelling on the negatives, on the setbacks and difficulties, and not enough expending efforts to make my time here worthwhile.  I guess it seems easier to sit back and complain than to really take things into your hands.

That being said, I won't be dissuaded from enjoying my time that remains.  I have a number of papers to do but rather than despairing over them and drawing them out as I would at Cornell, I plan on getting them done as soon as possible.  And then when that's finished, I'll have five weeks of travel before I go home!  And all of it funded on my sister's dollar (that is, until I pay her back...)!

I still have a number of museums on my list to visit.  I still have MACBA and Picasso and the Chocolate and the Maritime museums, and MNAC and the History of Cataluña and of the City to explore.  I guess I have a pretty full plate until the end of the semester, and only 25 days or so to get it all done.  Here's to pulling through!

  1. Good for you, man! I hope that plan worked, and don't worry about not spending your time to the fullest- I'm sure you did! Btw, why is the running of the bulls?
